ARP: Week 47

Focus: Being open to expansion in our journey.
Repetition: I love my body and will keep my mind focused on what it needs. I am open to expansion. Remember that expansion is not a rejection of what you have done up until now. We are incredibly grateful for learning new things that will only help us.

Budget Sauna How-To

Here’s the list of items you’ll need. If you’re interested in adding the niacin protocol to your sauna experience (whether a bath or a true sauna), please get a copy of Clear Body, Clear Mind by Dr. David Root — just make sure the copy you have is pre-2002. You can also read the updates for the book here: facebook.com/legacy/notes/1120583504659417.

You’ll need a submersible heater (a.co/d/fNGMwfG), a GFCI plug — make sure it’s a 15 amp one (a.co/d/1IKC0vg), a remote control outlet rated at least 1500 watts (a.co/d/3qg1Tjx), an infrared thermometer (any well-reviewed one will work — a.co/d/fgiTV4F), and a wool sauna hat (a.co/d/dyiuZ9Y).

Important Safety Notes

Only turn the heater on once it’s underwater, and turn it off before draining the tub, since it will overheat if it runs dry. Turn the heater on first, while you’re still out of the tub. Tie the heater to your faucet so it stays still — make a loop with the cord itself, or secure it some other stable way.

Check your forehead for sweat throughout the bath, just to make sure you’re not overheating. Check your water temperature throughout as well — at least 110 degrees, held steady, is a great temperature to work your way up to, and you can go a little higher if you prefer, but make sure the water doesn’t drop below 110 degrees.

Use a 12 or 14 gauge extension cord only — never a lamp extension cord. The GFCI outlet is there to protect you from shorts, and you can use the remote to shut the heater off quickly if the bath gets too hot.

Make sure to use your vitamin C powder and bentonite clay, and you can also try adding a mix of Epsom salts, borax, and baking soda for extra minerals and detox support.

You are doing beautifully — enjoy the warmth and the deep rest it brings.
