Fatty, Bone-In Roast

Ingredients

  • Roast
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • Mineral salt
  • Pepper
  • For pork only:
    • Raw milk kefir, or
    • lemon juice

Directions

  • If using pork: soak overnight in the kefir or lemon juice
  • Grease pan with butter
  • Place roast into greased skillet or Dutch oven
  • Add salt and pepper to taste
  • Cover with lid
  • Place in oven
  • Cook at 250°F for 6-8 hours, or overnight
