Note: This recipe is an adaptation of Baba’s Beef Liver Pâté.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken livers
- 1 onion
- 6 carrots
- 1 stick butter
- 1 T mineral salt
Directions
- Drain chicken livers
- Dice carrots and onions
- Melt butter in skillet
- Add salt, carrots, and onions
- Cover and cook on low for 30 minutes
- Add chicken livers and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes
- Allow to cool, then purée in food processor
