Chicken Liver Pâté


Note: This recipe is an adaptation of Baba’s Beef Liver Pâté.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken livers
  • 1 onion
  • 6 carrots
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 T mineral salt

Directions

  • Drain chicken livers
  • Dice carrots and onions
  • Melt butter in skillet
  • Add salt, carrots, and onions
  • Cover and cook on low for 30 minutes
  • Add chicken livers and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes
  • Allow to cool, then purée in food processor
